The comprehensive training and education activities for pupils of Grade 9 and Grade 12 from high schools located within the boundaries of the target subcenters and their parents and caregivers on how to choose professional careers have been successfully conducted, within the scope of Ger Areas Development and Investment Program (GADIP), in cooperation with "Creative Brain Institute of Psychology", a non-government organization.
The objective of the events is to share information on the implementation progress of the Program and strengthen the capacity of adolescent girls and boys. The training and activity have been conducted, through two stages, and 1860 pupils from High school no. 35, 37, 58, 67, 76, 105, and 124 in Bayankhoshuu, Selbe, and Dambadarjaa subcenters and about 1000 parents and caregivers were involved. The participants were provided with details to be considered when choosing occupations and lines of work, expected outcomes of the subcenter development, the salient features and the progress of the GADIP project , and characteristics of civil engineering jobs of different kinds.
Within the scope of the educational campaign, the 3-stage psychological test-diagnosis and psychological training were conducted to help and support the pupils in their choice of professional careers, as well as to educate their parents and guardians on how to provide assistance in their children's pursuit and priorities in making decisions about future lines of works.
Engineers and specialists of GADIP also participated in the training and shared their professional features and work experiences with the students. At the request of the school officials, the training managers from Polytechnic College of Technology and Construction Polytechnic College provided the college profiles to parents and guardians.
