The "Find Your Trigger" training program took place among senior students of School No. 42 and School No. 106 at the Tolgoit subcenter in Q1, 2025. The training aimed at educating children and young people about harmful habits and strategies for prevention. This initiative was a collaborative effort involving the Child and Family Development Protection Department of the SKhD and the facilitator of training, “Zuv Dadal” NGO. A total of 424 students participated, including 227 (53.5%) girls and 197 (46.5%) boys, across four training sessions. During the training, general information about the project and an introduction to the Tolgoit subcenter were presented.
The training covered the origins of harmful habits, their potential consequences, and the mechanisms behind habit formation. A key focus was on understanding that initial feelings of comfort can often lead to the development of harmful habits. Participants engaged in discussions about healthy ways to relax and effectively manage negative emotions. They received preventive recommendations, which included evaluating how the behaviours of friends, loneliness, and personal habits can act as triggers. Emphasis was placed on the importance of vigilance and knowledge as crucial tools for prevention.
